Jill and Sam running across the road, looking for the ticket!!!
On the day for the loves, Magnum
decided to bring its prestigious products into the picture. Now, we have an
event where you can win two tickets to Hawaii and they have already been won!
It all began at the Magnum Café.
There, we found three couples who
wanted to compete in our competition. After we found our couples, we send them
off to a treasure hunt in Oxford Street luxury shops Nike, Topshop and TopMan
and H&M. The winning couple- Jill and Sam- melted in each other’s arms
during a hug.
We asked the founder, Sam, how he
found the ticket. “I was so excited and full of energy, but I also love men’s
boxers in TopMan. I thought I would look there, and there it was, a luxurious
surprise for me and my queen.”
The event was sponsored by Nike,
Topshop and TopMan and H&M. The Marketing VP of TopMan, Oliver Will’s
comments, “We were frightened that our shop was going to crunch down, but
everything turned out to be just fine. It was lovely to see two happy lovebirds
hugging on Valentine’s Day.”
We also asked some members of the
public on what they thought about the whole idea of a treasure hunt, and got
some responses. “It’s incredible! You don’t see something like this every day,
and I just wished I was them, very moving.”

They do various
exciting events. One of the events was during the 2012 London Olympic Games
where they opened a shop and let consumers and customers choose flavours from a
range of 18 ingredients. They also served ‘Magnum- inspired cocktails and
deserts’ and created a space where people’s
‘neurological responses’ where captured ‘to eating chocolate and turn these
into a unique personalized visual display’. This event went on from
July-September 2012.
